Team Rwanda Cycling has jumped three places from fifth to second in Africa according to UCI (Union Cycliste International) ranking released on Tuesday. Only Morocco is ranked higher.
In the same classifications, Tour du Rwanda winner Valens Ndayisenga jumped one place from sixth position to fifth.
As a result, Team Rwanda has improved its chances of competing in the 2016 Olympic Games, to be held in Rio de Janeiro.
