A passenger service bus was today engulfed in flames at KBC roundabout in Kacyiru in a strange spectacle that left onlookers bewildered. The incident forced temporary closure of the road, but no injuries were reported.
A passenger service bus was today engulfed in flames at KBC roundabout in Kacyiru in a strange spectacle that left onlookers bewildered. The incident forced temporary closure of the road, but no injuries were reported.
Police said passengers travelling in the bus had already evacuated by the time the flames engulfed the bus in the midday incident.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established but witness accounts suggest it started in the engine compartment.
Following the extinguishing of the fire, Police took to social media, tweeting ‘Owners of vehicles must ensure that their cars have fire extinguishers to avoid fire accidents’.
