The singer, who tasted success with two back-to-back hits "Tubivemo’ and "Telephone”, told The New Times that he was already doing well without the label.

"I was famous even before signing to that label and my music was liked by very many people. I’m now even more determined to work harder because I don’t want to let my fans down,” he said.
He added, "It looks like this is going to be a prolific year for me. I’m organising events and working on a couple of songs and shooting my music videos.”
Indeed that seems to be true because the singer launched his brand new track, dubbed-"Inkovu”, last weekend.

The 22-year-old musician, real name is Bruce Itahiwacu, is one of the few local musicians who have garnered popularity in a short time, thanks to his great tunes.
Bruce Melodie started his career in 2010 and has worked with several musicians including Jay Polly, Ama-G the Black, JAY C, and Uganda-based Rwandan singer Fille, among others.
