BOTTOM-placed Isonga FC will be eyeing their first league win when they host second from bottom Etincelles today at Kicukiro stadium as the National Football League second round kicks off.

Without a single win throughout the first round, the youthful side are under pressure to avoid relegation and are rooted at the bottom of the log with just five points from 13 games.

"We are anxious to register our first win this season. We have trained well in the past fortnight and we hope that it pays off. We want to do better than our first round performance,” Isonga head coach Innocent Seninga said. Seninga will be relying on strikers Danny Usengimana and Kevin Muhire that have recently earned call-ups to the national U-23 side that’s preparing for the Rio 2016 Olympic qualifier against Somalia in March. Isonga are up for disbandment at the end of the current season.

On the other hand, Etincelles, who are in 13th place on the league log with eight points from one win and five draws in the first round, will be hoping to return to winning ways.

Elsewhere, Mukura host Espoir at Muhanga stadium with the former looking to move into the top half of the table.

"Our goal is to get three points against Espoir. We want to win every game that we play but, of course, each game is different,” said head coach Godrey Okoko, who has guided Mukura out of the relegation zone and into the 11th place with 14 points.
