Reggae singer Chrispin Ngabirama has announced the release of his highly anticipated album on February 28, 2015.
The five-track album entitled, "African Moment”, has lyrics in Kinyarwanda, French and English.
Ngabirama said the album is a compilation of his latest singles, "Bamenye”, "Oh Congo”, "Craving for Unity”, "Mu Rwatubyaye ni Amahoro” and "African Moment”, the cover of the album.
The Global Rockstar award-winning singer, also known for hits like Dieu d’Afrique and Turashoboye, said he is happy some of the songs on the album are already receiving massive radio airplay in the country.
"The project has taken me one year and six months, but this album is absolutely worth the wait. The album encourages Africans to pick lessons from our past and build a strong, unified Africa,” said Ngabirama.
The album was produced at Color of Music studios by Didier Ntwali Kayihura, who also produced the singer’s second, Adieu l’Afrique Shida.
Ngabirama started singing in 2004.
