Infrastructure development in Rwanda; both hard and soft, has been given a high-table consideration in the country's development process.

There is no doubt that if Rwanda is to attain its second Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS2), infrastructure will play a critical role towards the realization of this objective.

In fact, policies and strategies have been crafted and aligned to fast track this economic ambition.

And according to Hon. James Musoni, The Minister of Infrastructure who is confident that the development of infrastructure projects will not only boost investment opportunities in the country but also drive sustainable economic development.

In an exclusive interview, Minister James Musoni talked to The New Times’s Peterson Tumwebaze and Athan Tashobya about the state of infrastructure, achievements and the future of Rwanda’s infrastructure.
