Telecom services provider MTN Rwanda, on Friday, recognised 42 distributors, retailers and franchises in its first ever annual Trade Partnership Awards in Kigali.

The telecom firm recognised them for their contributions in "advancing and supporting MTN initiatives, products, processes, and helping to increase customer satisfaction over last year”. The winning retailers were judged on performance parameters such as business and sales growth, superior customer service and support and dedication. They won prizes such as computers, motorbikes, money counting machines and cash. The telecom firm has six franchise holders, over 200 distributors and 60,000 retailers countrywide.

"MTN is proud to honour these top performers for their exceptional achievements. We value our partners and this is one way we can celebrate those who go above and beyond,” said Annie Bilenge, the MTN chief sales and distribution officer.
