The annual customer service survey, which assesses the level client satisfaction across a number of sectors, has kicked off.
The survey conducted by The ServiceMag, a services sector-focused magazine, involves anonymous respondents voting for their best and worst service providers online, as well as one-on-one interviews.
"The aim is to give a voice to customers throughout the country to vote for institutions that offered the best and worst service throughout the previous year. It is mostly an online survey, but we also have a team that goes around the whole country to interview Rwandans about their experiences with given service providers,” Sandra Idossou, publisher of The ServiceMag, said.
She said the online survey would take two weeks, and the results will be announced in March.
Last year, RZ Manna, a local bread and pastry house, emerged the best service provider for 2013. Overall, the survey showed that supermarkets provided the highest customer satisfaction levels, while the district local offices had the least.
Idossou was optimistic that there would be more respondents in this year’s survey, which will help gauge the level of awareness among Rwandans as far their right to attain the best customer service is concerned.
