THE Painkillers, a newly formed band comprising of three teenage artistes, is set to take Rwanda’s music scene by storm. Despite being new on the scene, Innocent, Sandra and Reddy, as they are fondly referred to by fans, have won the hearts of many with their club bangers, A New Day, Brave, Kera, and The Way You Make Me Feel, among other tracks.

The group was started last year by Innocent Nshimiyimana and Reddy Nshuti Rodriguez. The duo later brought on board Sandra, the only female band member.

The group focuses on rap music and sings about social issues, especially the issues that affect the youth.

The group is currently working on a number of music videos for all their audio tracks.

According to Reddy, three videos are set to be released as early as next week.

"Champion, Blame and Queen of Hearts are the new video tracks we shall be releasing,” Reddy says. The trio brings their unique brand of soulful and gritty down rap abilities.
