Striker Hussein Mugabo Cyiza has agreed to stay at National Football League side Mukura Victory Sports for another two years. The 23-year-old Amavubi forward has been on Rayon Sports’ radar for some time but by signing a new contract, it means he has committed to the Huye-based outfit.

The club has also started talks to renew contracts of defender Etienne Karekezi and midfielders, Djuma Saidi Ngendakumana and Frank Nkotanyi before the league second round starts in two weeks’ time.
Mukura VS Secretary General Emmanuel Ntakirutimana said: "We want to build a strong team, which will be together for a long time and it will help us to be competitive.”
Meanwhile, head coach Okoko Godfrey has confirmed that his side has got the permission to use Burundian midfielder Ali Niyonzima from Academy Tchite, who missed the first leg due to unsolved issues with his International Transfer Certificate.
Mukura is currently standing on 11th position in the league table with 14 points at the halfway mark of the season. Okoko’s team will play against Sunrise FC when the second leg begins in January 27.
