Former Sunrise coach Moussa Gatera has been given the unenviable task of keeping the Rubavu based side in the top division league after agreeing a 6 month deal to replace sacked coach Radjab Bizumureyi.
Etincelles is currently in 13th position on the National league table standing with half of the league games already played.
"We zeroed in on Gatera because we think that he is the best coach that can keep us in the top flight,” Etincelles Chairman Amani Turatsinze said.
Gatera left Sunrise after falling out with the Club’s technical Director Jean Marie Ntagwabira. It is not clear why they fell out.
Etincelles also recruited former SC Kiyovu, APR and Police midfielder Jabir Mutarambirwa as assistant coach.
Meanwhile Etincelles has signed former Mukura and Rayon Sports striker, Bertrand Youssa and reports from the club suggest that they are hunting for another striker.
