Beware of empty anti-FDLR rhetoric

Editor,

Truth be told, there has never been willingness to go after FDLR even after the defeat of M23.

There has never been such willingness from Monusco, FIB or FARDC. The question is why.

Did you ever hear any preparation by Monusco/FIB to go after FDLR in case they did not disarm? FDLR was given a good grace period to do the required and they didn’t do it, reason being they knew that no repercussions would follow.

Rwandans should not be fooled by the statements from some leaders and Monusco, expressing disappointment over FDLR’s failure to respect the ultimatum. They knew it and now they are acting à la Hollywood style.

It is obvious that this game is being played by three or four actors: FDLR, Monusco and DR Congo, plus an invisible hand. However, sooner or later, some truth will come out.

I think there are serious questions that need to be answered.
