Former Amavubi striker Meddie Kagere was on Thursday released by his club KF Tirana of Albania where he has been playing professional football for the last few months.
Kagere was released following a series of poor performance, since joining the club three months ago. He scored only one goal during a league game against Teutes in which his team won 4-2.
According to the Albanian newspaper Panorama sport, the team’s executive committee has not been impressed by Kagere’s performance and decided to offload him.
Kagere was bought from Rayon’s sport in July last year for $10.000
He has previously played for Police, Rayon Sports, Mukura as well as Masaka F.C.
Times Sport could not reach the striker to reveal what he planned to do next.
