Bralirwa, the country’s largest brewer, has concluded its Heineken Cities Campaign by awarding two lucky winners, Patrick T. Kabongo and Jeanne Marie Mukakibibi. The raffle event was held at Bralirwa’s marketing offices in Kicukiro on Monday.
The two winners will have a lifetime VIP trip to one of the world’s most prestigious cities next March. Organisers preferred to keep the name of the city a surprise.
The ceremony was graced by Bralirwa’s new marketing director Julius Kayoboke, who said Kigali was among the cities chosen to conduct the global Heineken promotion because the brand is growing in Rwanda by the day.
Also present were Thierry Nshuti, the company’s trade marketing manager and John Muhoza, the previous winner.
Mark Nkera, the Heineken brand manager, said: "The aim of this campaign was to create an experience for our target market. We want to expose them to Kigali, to learn more about the city; we also want to take it a step further to expose our consumers to the world. One of our key values is enjoyment. Our consumers should be able to benefit from the great experience.”
The promotion ran from September through November in bars and online.
