Editor, I sincerely applaud Mr. David Nkusi's expert efforts to ascertain and tell us about all those artifacts and their historical uses during the time of our ancestors. I, however, also wish that any other expert in the domain would take us a step further " beyond the mere historical and museological purposes.

I sincerely applaud Mr. David Nkusi’s expert efforts to ascertain and tell us about all those artifacts and their historical uses during the time of our ancestors. I, however, also wish that any other expert in the domain would take us a step further – beyond the mere historical and museological purposes.

I wish someone would instruct us on production aspects, daily practical uses, including psycho-socio-political symbolism of some of those ancient artifacts like the drums. For instance, a thorough comparison and observations on all aspects of those drums make and use, with the "modern” (read western inspired and imported) flag would be even more instructive to us all, once historical facts have been established.
