Struggling National Football league side Isonga FC have started search for a new head coach to replace Innocent Seninga.

Isonga, bottom of the league table, sacked Seninga almost three weeks ago following a series of poor results.

Seninga took over from Yves Rwasamanzi, who resigned after leading the team back to the topflight football division. The youthful side is bottom of the standing with just three points after 11 rounds of matches. Isonga remain the only side without a win this season after losing eight games and drawing three.

According to the club secretary general Sandra Muhimpundu, the search for a new coach is already underway, but she declined to give too much away.

"Recruiting a new coach is our top priority now, we need an experienced coach, who would motivate the players and get the best out of them,” she said.

The team is currently handled by Sulaiman Niyibizi who is working as interim coach. Isonga, which was formed as a strategy to keep together the successful U-17 national team that participated in the 2011 Fifa World Cup in Mexico, is set to be disbanded later this season, according to football administrators.
