Rayon Sport left back Abouba Sibomana has confirmed that Kenyan side Gor Mahia is interested in him and that he has agreed personal terms with the club.
The Amavubi international has six months left on his contract at Rayon Sports, a club he has played for in the last 4 years.
"We agreed on everything. What is remaining is for them to reach an agreement with the club,” Sibomana said adding that the Kenyan side wants to wrap up the deal before the end of this month.
The 25-year-old is keen on leaving the blues to advance his career.
Meanwhile, Rayon’s full back Karim Nizigiyimana ‘Makenzi’ has also been linked with a move to Gor Mahia.
The Kenyan transfer window opened on December 1.
Rayon Sports Secretary General Aime Emmanuel Niyomusabye says the team will not impede the players if they want to move.
"If Gor Mahia contacts us, and the players want to go, I see no problem but it will depend on whether the offers match our evaluation,” Niyomusabye said Niyomusabye.
Another player who has been linked with Kenyan clubs is APR winger Charles Tibingana, who told this paper ten days ago that he would consider leaving for Kenya after it emerged that Kenyan giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards were interested in him.
