Certain things are beyond human imagination. What Jean Damascene Ndolimana did was unspeakable! He hacked his wife to death with a hoe!

Yes, one can imagine what such a character did during the genocide. He is a big evil!

Ndolimana has no excuse for what he did. There are many ways to resolve conflict in a better and in a civilized manner.

Whatever the reason for the quarrel between this man and the victim- for your information was a widow he was co-habiting with, murder is not the solution.

This brings something else to my mind, co-habiting. Why was this woman in this situation? Whatever the reason, she was not in safe hands.

Today in Rwanda, a lot is being done to reinforce reconciliation and unity. This is to help change the thinking of many who still harbour the genocide ideology.

Mark you, some genocide perpetrators are still looming free and have not reformed in their thinking. However, this will not stop us from going about our business to change their minds.
