GICUMBI — The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF) intensified its parliamentary campaigns this week at two separate rallies in Gicumbi drawing thousands of party supporters.
At Rutare Sector playground, about 12,000 supporters hailing from Muko, Giti, Nyamiyaga, Bukure and Rwamiko turned up for the rally.

Modern crop and livestock farming, poverty eradication, improved health facilities and provision of education to all Rwandans are some of the areas Murigande said need further RPF input.
Other things that are on the RPF agenda that the minister highlighted include introducing a Free Trade Zone in Rwanda to boost the economy, provision of cheap transport through a railway line and constructing an oil pipeline that would link the country with the rest of the East African Community member countries.
Also present at Rutare were Senators Alivera Mukabaramba, Bizimana Jean Baptiste, Vice Chairman of RPF in Northern Province Mathias Rupia, district party chairman, Bonane Nyangezi, and the party parliamentary hopefuls Beatrice Nirere and Jean Marie Vianey Gatabazi.
