APR FC winger Charles Tibingana has hinted  that he would consider leaving the club after it emerged that Kenyan giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards are interested in him, Sunday Sport has learnt

The ex-Proline and SC Victoria University starlet has five months left on his contract at APR but hasn’t played a game this season because he is one of the players affected by the issue of dual citizenship.

Speaking to Sunday Sport on Friday, Tibingana confirmed the reports about the interest from Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards, admitting that he is willing to play in the Kenyan Premier League.

"It’s true I have been contacted by Gor and Ingwe but nothing yet has been reached,” Tibingana said, adding that he would welcome any opportunity to play in Kenya.”

The Amavubi winger noted: "I want to play. Here (at APR) I am not playing with the team, I only train, I am not playing games. But I have to sit down with the club to discuss my future.”

The Kenyan transfer window opened on December 1.

According to the APR FC spokesperson, George Gatete, the club will not impede any offer once done officially.

"If they come and talk with the club, and the fact that the player wants to go, I see no problem because we also want him to develop as a Rwandan international,” Gatete told this paper in a separate interview.
