TVET should be prioritised
Editor, Passing out graduates with hands-on skills is a must if unemployment is to be tackled. However this should follow a well developed policy to ensure that this skilled labour force from Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) has a place to apply the skills.

Passing out graduates with hands-on skills is a must if unemployment is to be tackled. However this should follow a well developed policy to ensure that this skilled labour force from Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) has a place to apply the skills.
In this case parents will stop looking at TVET as the "last resort” for their kids and it will also encourage students to pursue TVET education.
