The event which is the fifth and last round of the National Rally Championships will cover 354.79km including the second stage that will see the competition held in Kawangire, Gakenke and Rukara in the east of the country.
The reigning champion Davite Giancarlo will face close competition from Ugandan drivers that include legend Wycliffe Bukenya in the Evo 9, Musa Kabega in the Evo 6 and Adam Essa in the Subaru N10.
Burundian Valery Bukera in the Subaru N10 who won the Huye rally in October and runner-up Claude Kwizera in the Subaru Impreza N12 will also be challenging for the honours at the two-day event.
Among the expected drivers are Mayaka Felekani Amigo with Fabrice Nyiridandi in the Mistubishi Evo 3, Ally Mohammed in a Subaru GC8 and Arif Karmali in a Subaru WRX.
Burundians Kimbol Barekayo and Abdul Rauf in a Toyota Celica, Jean Jacques Ntwari and Dias Maceri in a Toyota Celica, Mohammed Abbas Roshanali and Thierry Mutore and Arnaud Nzojiyobiri in a Subaru WRX are among the expected drivers who will present an opportunity for a challenging race to Rwandan motorsport fans.
The event is the 31st edition of the annual competition that has been organized by Unity rally team.
Meanwhile, fans have been cautioned to respect the chosen spectator viewing areas without walking outside the designated pathways at the super special stage in Gahanga.
