According to our snoops, Bruce Melody recorded a song; Ndakwanga from Infinity Records only to be told by Piano that he had to redo the song. For reasons our snoops are yet to find out, this didn’t go well with Bruce Melody whose contract is running out next year. Speculation is rife that his contract may not be renewed.
However, our snoops confirm that some studios have started to approach Bruce Melody and it might not be long before he joins a new record house.
Frankie Joe invited for ‘The Future Awards Africa’ in Nigeria
Ex-BBA star Frank Rukundo aka Frankie Joe is rumoured to be among the hosts of "The future awards Africa” scheduled to take place in Nigeria on December 7 according to information reaching our desk. The awards celebrate young people between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievements in the year under consideration. According to our snoops, Frankie Joe has already received an invitation from the organisers but he is uncertain about making it to Nigeria because the event coincides with the Big Brother Africa Hotshots finale in South Africa which he has to attend.
Frankie will be hosting the show together with Africa’s finest celebrities like Nigerian drama queen Genevieve Nanji, Musicians Iyanya, Ice Prince and Uganda’s Flavia Tumusiime.
Celebrities across the African continent will attend and contribute in the campaign to stop Ebola with a hash tag on twitter #StopEbola.
Kitoko eyes UK music industry
Well, it seems like the sun is shining again for Afro beat singer Kitoko Bibarwa who recently relocated from the United States of America to United Kingdom after he was approached by a London based producer.
According to our snoops, Kitoko was approached by a British producer after the producer attended a Rwandan concert where Kitoko’s songs were played. After several inquiries, the producer made his way to the US and met the musician.
Currently, our snoops tell us that Kitoko is busy writing songs and he is scheduled to perform at the East African annual party in London on December 6.
Legendary musicians set for grand Christmas concert
Rwandan legendary traditional musicians are set for a music concert on December 26, according to our snoops. Cecil Kayirebwa and Jean Baptiste Byumvuhore will thrill Rwandans during the Christmas festivities in a show that is being organised by Focus Ruremire who also happens to be a traditional music singer.
The highly anticipated concert will also be graced by musician Ben Ngabo. Apparently, the European based musicians Kayirebwa and Byumvuhore are expected in the country on December 17.
Neema lands modeling deal in Europe
Rwanda’s representative at Miss Supranational 2014, Neema Umwali has landed a deal to work with European celebrated fashion house PTAKA MODA based in Poland. According to our snoops, Umwali was listed among four beauty queens out of 71 models in a Miss Fashion contest under the Miss Supranational competition to market PTAK MODA products.
Although she failed to make it to the finale that will be held this Saturday, Umwali will work with the celebrated fashion and modeling house.
