Indorwa’s Fred Ndayisenga is looking to continue his rich form when his team faces Right Guards in the final of this year UAE Exchange and Xpress Money 50-overs Premier League today at Kicukiro cricket oval.
The youngster has been in dazzling form this season for Indorwa. In batting, he has made 40 runs in 2 innings with 31 runs as his highest score, which he scored against Right Guards in the preliminaries.
The 18-year-old has been impressive with the ball too, picking 11 wickets from 30 over, which counts for an economy of 4.3 and he tops the ranks as the best bowler so far.
"This has been my best season ever and I am hoping to continue working hard to see that we win the title. Right Guards won’t be easy to beat but I am ready to help my team to achieve our target,” stated the Rwanda U-19 team star.
Indorwa, who are yet to lose a game, having won all their games from preliminaries, including the game against today’s opponents, will go into the final as favourites.
Meanwhile, Right Guard captain Eric Dusingizimana is optimistic that his side will triumph over Indorwa if they keep their bowling tight.
He said: "Indorwa beat us in the preliminaries and it was partly because of our poor bowling, but we have been working on it for the past two weeks and there is improvement.”
Besides Ndayisenga, Indorwa will also look to the performance of Ugandan international, Arthur Kyobe to help guide them to the 50-over title.
