Rwanda’s APR volleyball club’s men and women teams, RRA, and Police VC will represent the country at the 2023 Nyerere International Championship scheduled for October 10 to 14 in Arusha, Tanzania.

Rwanda’s teams will join others from hosts Tanzania, Zanzibar, Burundi, Uganda, and the DR Congo at the regional tournament.

The annual tournament is held in commemoration of the death of the country’s founding father Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
The latest competition attracted 14 teams, with the women's category having 10. The men's competition starts at the group stage with three pools while the women are divided into two groups.

Rwanda’s teams left the country on Friday, October 6. It brings together teams from around the East African region.
