Five clubs have confirmed participation in this year’s 10s rugby tournament scheduled to take place on December 7th at Utexrwa grounds.

According to Yanic Sangwa, Lion de fer Secretary General, the five clubs which have confirmed their participation include Remera Bufaloes, Sharks, A thousands hills Rugby club, Muhanga Rugby club and hosts-Lion de fer.

"It will be a very competitive competition because clubs are eager to impress ahead of the new season that starts on December 13th,” Sangwa said adding that clubs like Grizzles, Tumba College and Puma are yet to confirm.

The annual one day tournament started three years ago and all the eight rugby clubs in the country are always invited to participate in it.

Lion de fer has won the competition since it started in 2011.
