Irrigation is the key to successful agricultural output throughout the year.

Quite a big number of unemployed qualified agronomists, University of Rwanda-Busogo Campus graduates and others, deployed throughout the country, in cooperatives or private initiatives, can make a difference in food security and commercial agriculture.

From 0.5 tonnes of maize to 2.5 tonnes per Ha, we are told this could pass from 2.5 tonnes to 15 tonnes per Ha if irrigation is coupled with ICT and adequate fertilisers.

We should aim high and go for it. I support the points raised in this letter.
