Eritrean Mekseb Debesay wins stage 2, Hadi retains yellow jersey
Eritrea's Mekseb Debesay has won Stage 2 of the Tour du Rwanda from Kigali to Ngoma (96.4km) but Rwanda's Janvier Hadi will retain the coveted yellow jersey after winning yesterday's prologue race and finishing a few seconds behind Mekseb Debesay in today's race.

Eritrea’s Mekseb Debesay has won Stage 2 of the Tour du Rwanda from Kigali to Ngoma (96.4km) but Rwanda’s Janvier Hadi will retain the coveted yellow jersey after winning yesterday’s prologue race and finishing a few seconds behind Mekseb Debesay in today’s race.
70 cyclists from 14 teams are taking part in the 8-day race which continues tomorrow morning with stage 3 from Rwamagana to Musanze (153km).
