Many Rwandans will feel relieved that right after consistently nominating Rwandan housemates, Malawi’s Mr265 and South Africa’s Samantha had a taste of their own medicine when they were booted out of Biggie’s house.
Samantha was put up for eviction by Malawi’s Sipe who won Head of House. A surprised Samantha did not have enough time to stomach the news as the show presenter IK announced that she and Mr265 would be leaving.
The duo were up for eviction alongside Goitse, Idris and Macky2 who were saved by Africa to keep their dreams of bagging USD $300.000 alive.
Samantha became the first South African to leave the house leaving behind Nhlanhla in the running for the grand prize.
Likewise Mr.265 also is the first Malawian to leave the house with Sipe still carrying the Malawian flag high.
Samantha had initially not been nominated but was put up by HoH Sipe something she attributed to "the fact that she was the strongest person from the other side” when she was asked to explain why she put her up.
Sipe was clearly devastated when Samantha was evicted but nevertheless her plan had worked out well.
But the eviction of Samantha was not the shocker of the night. Biggie introduced a prank that left the remaining 12 housemates in shock.
Just as they took in the fact that Samantha and Mr265 had been evicted, Biggie told the housemates that they would not be nominating on Sunday night as usual but rather all of them were up for eviction.
10 former housemates would be introduced in the house and Africa would vote on whether to replace the current housemate with a former housemate, but that’s only a prank known by the viewers and the old housemates who are part of the prank.
The 10 are Feza from Tanzania, Sulu from Zambia, Miss P from Botswana, Natasha from Malawi, former winner Uti from Nigeria, Vimbai from Zimbabwe, Elikem from Ghana, Denzel from Uganda, Lionel from Mozambique and Luclay from South Africa.
The housemates saw their perceived contenders arriving but they will not be entering the house till Monday.
With the 10 new ‘housemates’ making their intentions to win the money clear, the current housemates now feel they have competition as they face their possible replacements for a period of a week. They will only get to know on Sunday.
Once again Biggie proved that he is unpredictable. The games are just beginning.
