The idea of opening boarders round the clock makes a lot of sense as far as development is concerned. The people doing business are normally in the operation for almost all the hours and actually keep on alternating.

They therefore need the 24 hours to operate freely at their convenience. However, the government must be extra careful the darkness might be a good cover for its official to pick bribes from business persons.

For different reasons including profits and convenience, business persons tend to offer bribes to government officials. If such an environment is not checked, the good idea will serve individuals, not the state, and its people.
