Rwandan woman among 12 illegals arrested in Trinidad

Twelve illegal immigrants, including a Rwandan, caught working in a Chaguanas nightclub were detained and several bar owners cautioned during a police raid in Central Trinidad at the weekend.

Twelve illegal immigrants, including a Rwandan, caught working in a Chaguanas nightclub were detained and several bar owners cautioned during a police raid in Central Trinidad at the weekend. 

Chaguanas is the fastest growing town in the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago. 

Police said the suspects, who also included women from the Dominican Republic, Nigeria and Jamaica, were held for violation of immigration laws. They were handed over to the Trinidad and Tobago Immigration Division.
