Rayon Sports will name a new coach after the international break, according to Club’s Secretary General Aime Emmanuel Niyonsabye.
"Richard Tardy remains our primary target. We held talks last month but didn’t agree on some things; however, we are looking for a compromise,” Niyonsabye said.
The Blues failed to reach an agreement with the Frenchman who was demanding for Rwf3.4 million in monthly salary, bonuses for every match won or drawn and winning trophies, as well as a housing allowance and a fuelled car.
"We are optimistic that we will reach an agreement during this break. We have already agreed on the salary and bonuses. What remains is housing allowance and a fueled car,” Niyonsabye added.
Although he has not publically indicated whether he wants the job on permanent basis, Interim Coach Sosthene Habimana has generally done well. The Blues are second on the league table with 13 points.
The former Amavubi defender, who was appointed as assistant to Jean Francois Losciuto ahead of the Cecafa Kagame Cup, took over the Nyanza based club after the Belgian moved to ASFA Yennenga of Burkina Faso two months ago.
