Kigali Angels cricket club yesterday eased into the finals of this year’s UAE exchange and Xpress Money T20 premier league.

The game which was at Kicukiro cricket oval was a decisive one as both teams had the chance to advance to the finals.

Queens of victory won the toss and decided to bowl first, Kigali angels batted and set 129 runs and 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Josephine Umuhoza made 42 runs and picked up one wicket for Kigali Angels although Queens of victory worked hard to chase the set runs, they only managed to make 113 runs and picked up 3 wickets losing by 16 runs in 20 overs.

Diane Bineyimana was Victory’s best with 39 runs not out.

"I am grateful to my team mates because everyone did their bit to get us to the finals” Bineyimana said.

Kigali Angels will take on white clouds in the final later this month.
