Arthur Nkusi, fresh from his Big Brother Africa-Hotshots exploits, is finally back home. Arriving at midday aboard the RwandAir flight from Johannesburg, he was welcomed back by excited fans, friends and family who had waited for hours to welcome him home.
After a raucous welcome, he was then driven straight to Grand Legacy Hotel in Remera for the scheduled press conference. Arthur’s homecoming cocktail is expected to take place tonight, at the same hotel.
Arthur was evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Africa-Hotshots on November 2, along with Ghana’s Kacey Moore and Namibia’s Luis.
He was evicted after four weeks of showcasing a great sense of humour.
Arthur returns home as a star
Arthur's father Kennedy Mazimpaka, told The New Times that he was proud of his son’s performance in the house.
"Arthur's performance was exquisite but of course everyone looks at things differently and maybe there are some who did not think he had a good performance", he said. "However, now that he is out of the Big Brother Africa competition, what remains to be seen is if what he set out to achieve has been achieved."
"I was watching Big Brother Africa-Hotshots all the time and I think that Arthur represented Rwanda very well in all his performance, especially during the extravaganza shows,” John Muyenzi aka Babou, Arthur’s co-star in Comedy Night said.
"He showed that he is not just a comedian but a multi talented person. He’s an actor, dancer and singer," Babou added.
