Rwanda women's volleyball national team and APR women's volleyball club skipper Valentine Munezero has joined Tunisia's top-flight side Sfaxien Volleyball team for a one-year deal.
The left and right attacker left on Thursday after she inked the deal that runs until 2024, with both parties open to a possible extension.
Munezero joined APR Volleyball Club five years from IPRC Kigali before she started her career at Groupe Scolaire (GS) Rambura for her secondary studies.

Munezero, 23, a regular for the senior national team, becomes the first Rwandan woman to ply her trade in professional volleyball ranks away from home.

Since joining APR in 2018, she managed to win the three league titles: Kayumba Memorial Tournament, Rutsindura Memorial Tournament, Genocide Memorial Tournament, and KAVC Memorial Tournament (Uganda). She has participated in the Africa Club championships.
