Indorwa’s Arthur Kyobe was the star of the match as his team ended defending champions Challengers’ hopes in the ongoing UA Exchange and Xpress Money 50 overs premier league.

The Ugandan international, scored a century off 56 balls and took 4 wickets for 24 runs in his 5.5 overs making him man of the match. Poor batting continued to haunt defending champions Challengers CC as their star batters--Evode Mutuyimana, Pravin Memon and Subhasis Samal were bowled out with not much contribution. Ahmed Farishta’s 32 runs only went as far as getting Challengers to a very low score of 141 all out in 30.5 overs.

 "We know they can’t play spin, that’s why we played 3 spinners, who did a good job,” said Mihir Solanki, the captain Indorwa CC.

 The partnership between Kyobe (104) and Vicky Prajapati (24 not out) of 136 runs is so far the highest in this tournament. Indorwa chased the score in 14.2 overs with 8 wickets in hand.

 Challengers’ loss yesterday left them pointless and stay bottom in group B.
