Au revoir! Rwanda’s Big Brother Africa hotshot Arthur bid farewell to the ninth edition of Big Brother House last evening after being shown the exit door on the eviction night which saw Ghana’s Kacey Moore and Namibia’s Luis also booted out of the competition.
Arthur was evicted after four weeks of showcasing a great sense of humour but he could not survive the night he was up for eviction alongside his compatriot Frankie.
Surviving alongside Frankie were Zambia’s Macky 2, Malawi’s Mr265 and Botswana’s Sheila.
The eviction of the actor, comedian and dancer means Rwanda’s hopes are on Frankie who remains in contention of the $300, 000 jackpot, with about a month left.
Frankie survived yet another eviction after being put up for possible eviction by Head of House JJ of Zimbabwe, who had also previously nominated Arthur.
Asked why he chose Frankie as the person to add on the eviction list, JJ said he and Frankie were not connecting well and that he felt that the Rwandan model and singer did not respect him as a man.
Arthur’s eviction will perhaps come as a shocker as he had only bagged three nominations.
In fact several housemates were left in tears when the show host IK announced that Arthur was leaving the house. The comedian and radio presenter had made himself likeable fellow, especially around the girls.
IK too was shocked that Africa had evicted Arthur.
In reaction, Arthur said that he had achieved what he had gone for in the one month he spent in the house, which was mainly to showcase his talent to Africa.
Shortly after Arthur’s eviction, IK announced another shocker that Biggie wanted yet another double eviction, which saw Kacey and Luis also leave.
The Ghanaian poet and singer, who in recent days was getting cosy with Uganda’s Ellah, might have a few explanations to make to his wife back home, while Luis seemed more content to go home having attempted to escape from the house last week.
This week Frankie could again be back on the chopping board since his team (Team B) lost Saturday’s extravaganza performance to Team A.
