Musanze FC want to stun APR

Following their impressive form in the four opening matches of Rwanda Premier League, Musanze wants to stun the champions who were eliminated in the CAF Champions League last week as APR FC host Musanze on Friday, October 6, at Kigali Pelé Stadium.

The Musanze-based side has drawn one and won three.

"We want to win this game; we are focused on winning this match because it is very important. That is why we must be well prepared and focused," Musanze FC head coach Sosthene Habimana said.

"We desperately need these three points more than APR and we’ll fight until the last minute. I believe that we are in a good position to give APR a run for their money.”

APR FC have turned their focus to the Rwanda Premier League after failing to reach the group stages of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.

After five games played in the First Division Championship, Musanze FC leads the table with 10 points, three points ahead of APR FC. Rayon Sports is ninth with five points, level with Marines FC.4
