There are growing signs that both Iran and the United States want to do some serious talking about the nuclear crisis. Surprisingly, after harsh rhetoric and the threats, the two nations go diplomatic.

Washington for example, has shown its seriousness by agreeing to send the Under-Secretary of State, William Burns, to Geneva to join talks between the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, and Iranian negotiator Saeed Jalili on Saturday. In another related development, Iran has agreed to share nuclear technology with Nigeria to help it increase its generation of electricity.

The irony however is that Israel is against the whole idea of Iran gaining nuclear power. The lesson is simple; all the animosity was based on interest and nothing else.
