Irembo, an e-government platform which enables the access and provision of government services in Rwanda, launched an agent certification programme countrywide, starting with Rwamagana District, on October 4.

Irembo is dedicated to prioritizing transparency and trust in its customer service approach.

Its certification programme equips Irembo agents with the necessary tools to deliver Irembo services while upholding the principles of transparency and trust.

"Irembo agents are important players in delivering hassle-free services. This is why Irembo is dedicated to ensuring that they possess the necessary skills, knowledge, ethics, and unwavering dedication to serve effectively. A certified agent is an agent who has passed Irembo’s training about its services, standards, and proficiency in service delivery,” reads an Irembo statement.

"Irembo honors and recognizes agents who have worked hard to improve their skills and knowledge of Irembo services. Distinguished with unique jackets and badges, these agents symbolize Irembo&039;s belief in their abilities and commitment to top-tier service.”

NTUYARENZE tariff

Irembo also introduced the NTUYARENZE tariff, a new rate meant to reduce the risk of fraud and overcharging, so as to improve its service delivery to users. With certified agents leading the way, it is noted that "users can expect better support, transparency, problem-solving, and technical help.”
