Gabril Shema Mico, popularly known as Shemi, has said he will be dropping more hits before the end of the year.

This is after the youngster, who is one of the best of his generation in the country, dropped his second single titled ‘One Time’, following his first release &039;Peace of Mind' which made him a household name in the country.

Speaking to The New Times after the premiere of the second single which debuted on all streaming platforms on September 29, Shemi said he has a full file of unreleased tracks with some of them dropping in the next two months.

"2023 has been a blessed year not only for me, but for the entire Rwandan music industry in general. I'm focused and ready to drop bangers that will take over the Rwandan music scene. Some of the projects are already finalized and will be out soon," said the youngster.

He added that most of the unreleased tracks are produced in a fusion of genres, from Afropop to Afrobeats, R&B and Hip Hop.

If you listen to ‘Peace of Mind’ and ‘One Time’, for example he said, there's a big difference in sound, and that's how it will be for the next releases.

"I make music without limits and that's why I want to create different sounds that are new to my fans. We are creating a new wave," Shemi told The New Times.

Besides his two singles, Shemi has been featured on big tracks, including ‘Big Shaq; which appeared on Ish Kevin's debut album BST.
