CHARITY CRICKET Club captain Claudine Uwase is optimistic that her team can see off Kigali Angels in the ongoing women UA Exchange and Xpress Money 20 overs tourney today at Kicukiro cricket oval.
Uwase said their intention is to use all means to win and increase their chances of advancing to the final.
"We have to play well and all the players are in good spirit ready to face Kigali Angels,” she said.
The tournament has four teams which play round robin and the top two qualify for the final. The two teams lost their first games and both will go into today’s game looking for a first win.
Charity lost to Queens of Victory while Kigali Angels were beaten by White Clouds and Queens of Victory. White Clouds lead the table with 8 points from two games, followed by Queens of Victory with 4 points.
Meanwhile Kigali Angels captain Sarah Uwera is also very sure that they can challenge Charity for the semi final spot.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Right Guards will play against Kerala Hunters in the men’s UA Exchange and Xpress Money 50-overs Premier League at the same venue.
