During yesterday’s diary session, Biggie tested the Housemates on the virtue of trust. He asked Housemates to pick the person they trusted in the house. Some easily mentioned names while others had a hard time figuring out the Housemates they trusted.

Of course in an intense competition like Big Brother Africa, it is very hard to trust anyone in the House, as the Hotshots compete for the grand prize of US$300,000 and money can bring out the worst in people.

So Biggie brought in South African actor and producer Clint Brink, to give the housemates some tips on building trust and listening skills.

The actor led the Housemates in some exercises to build their trust; first he told them to partner up and then allow their partners to blindfold them and lead them around the house.

Next was the falling exercise where the Hotshots would fall in their partners’ arms, Clint also encouraged the Hotshots to share a secret with their partners in order to build trust.

The South African belle Samantha seemed to have a spiritual awakening after Clint’s lecture as she told her partner Ma’am Bea that she had nominated her and Laveda because she does not ‘know’ them well. She also mentioned that she would have nominated Nhlanhla if she was not from South Africa.

Meanwhile, Laveda and Permithias have taken their relationship to the physical level. While their fellow housemates discussed about the day’s task, these two were busy kissing every now and then.
