Kigali Cricket Club captain Hassan Zaki is optimistic his team can advance to the finals of the UA Exchange and Xpress money 50 overs tourney after a convincing win over Victory Cricket Club at Kicukiro Cricket oval on Sunday.

Zaki expressed delight over the team’s performance and said that this can be a stepping stone for their future outing throughout the tournament.

"It was wonderful, players worked as a team and there was improvement from the first game which we lost,” Zaki said.

KCC’s triumph over Victory Cricket Club took the team to the semi finals slated for November 7th

The Remera-based side joined Telegu which won its first two games and qualified with 8 points in group A.
