East Africa secures $40m loan to finance devt projects

The African Development Bank Group last week approved a $4 million (about Rwf27.5 billion) 10-year line of credit to boost growth in East Africa.
The money will be channeled through the East African Development Bank (EADB) and will be used to fund a number of projects in agriculture, manufacturing and education sectors as well as for infrastructure development in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, EADB said in a press statement.
