Diamond Platnumz stoned in Dodoma
Tanzanian star Warib Abdoul aka Diamond Platumz could not believe his misfortune when fans started throwing stones at him after a concert at Matei Lounge went wrong. The rowdy crowd was angry because they were charged a lot of money for the show yet Diamond only performed for 10 minutes.
The concert flopped because of poor organisation. The electricity kept going off and this threw the crowd into frenzy. If it wasn’t for his quick reflexes and fast legs he would have been lynched by the angry mob.
Rabadaba injures limb in drunken stupor
Word through the grapevine is that Faisal Sseguya aka Rabadaba may be a victim of ‘juju’ (black magic) or simply on the wrong drugs after the musician injured a limb in total madness at the Wink Bar on Acacia avenue in Kampala. The Ugandan dancehall musician who did a collabo with Urban Boyz titled ‘Intego’ seems to have lost his sense of direction after breaking up with his girlfriend Sheila Ferguson.
Snoops say that after a couple of shots of liquor, the visibly drunk musician started talking to a flower pot which obviously paid no heed to his approach, hence the suspicion that he might be under some sort of spell. He got angry and kicked it but unfortunately he is the only one who got injured in the brawl.
Rabadaba is not new to drama as the ‘lugaflow’ (Luganda flow) artiste was held at Kabalagala police station in Kampala on May 2011 after stabbing Goodlyfe member Rasta Thaddeus Buyego (RIP) in the abdomen.
Wedding bells for Cindy and Ken Muyiisa!
Word reaching our desk is that Ugandan singer, Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy and lover Ken Muyiisa are preparing a lavish wedding. This comes after Muyiisa, a South African based soccer player, went for an introduction ceremony at Cindy’s home to seek her hand in marriage.
Rumours are spreading quickly that the ‘Sample Dat’ singer is pregnant with Muyiisa’s baby and according to some, this is the reason why he is in a hurry to get married. It has been said that Cindy "snatched” the guy from another singer, Phina Mugerwa, with whom they have a son.
Cindy hooked up with Muyiisa after she separated from Mario, the owner of Cayenne an upscale bar in Kimpala, with whom she has a daughter. Mario accused Cindy of coming back home late in the night smelling of booze and not caring for their daughter.
