It’s always interesting to see youth opting for traditional music. I do encourage Maurice Maniraguha (Umushakamba) to develop more of our Rwanda cultural music folklore by bringing on board other traditional instruments such as umuduri/igobore, iningiri, icyembe, umubanda/umwirongi, ingoma...

I would also advise that Umushakamba to work with other interested musicians on more exploration in order to gain more power as this is the only opportunity to have a bigger voice to lobby the government for sponsorship in doing more research.
