Big Brother Africa kicked off last Sunday with debuttants Rwanda sending two representatives. They are Arthur Nkusi and Frankie Joe.

Those following the show have, however, warned that unless Rwandans vote consistently, both Nkusi and Frankie may have a short spell in the house.

"We have high hopes of bringing the money to Rwanda. Both contestants are confident and appealing to the viewers,” Lauren Makuza, Director of Culture Promotion in the Ministry of Sports and Culture, told The New Times yesterday.

He said the show should be watched for entertainment and as a way of appreciating other people’s cultures.

For one to vote, they have to download a mobile phone application called "Wechat” on their phones. Viewers can also vote by SMS, on Twitter or on the Multichoice website.
