Bizimana made the vow after his side held league title hopefuls Police FC 1-all draw in a pre-season friendly match on Sunday at Nyagisenyi stadium in Nyamagabe District.
"We have had a good pre-season and I think we will be ready for the start of the new season, the match against Police showed us where we are in terms of readiness,” Bizimana told this paper on Monday.
The former Etincelles FC coach noted that his team will not play any other friendly match until the league starts. "Last season, we didn’t have a good campaign but this time round, we want to finish in a better position,” he noted.
The Southern Province side finished in the eleventh position last season after winning six games, drawing five and losing 15. The side will kick off their campaign against Rayon Sports at Kigali Regional Stadium on Saturday, October 18.
Amagaju FC have been among the busiest teams in the transfer market, signing several new players, among them; Adolphe Bakundukize, Jean Pierre Muhindo (Etincelles FC), Saïba Mumbere (AS Muhanga), Abouba Bashunga (Marines FC), Meraj Rwanyabahara (Etincelles FC), Abdullah Hategekimana (Etincelles FC), Bienfaint Kabanda (Musanze FC), Jean Bosco Gasana signed from Djibouti.
Meanwhile, Rubavu District-based Etincelles FC held reigning champions APR FC 1-1 in another pre-season match played at Umuganda stadium.
APR will start the new campaign against Musanze FC at Kigali Regional Stadium on Sunday, October 19 while Etincelles will be at home to Isonga FC on October 18.
