Rwanda Volleyball Federation, with the help of FIVB Instructor, Nejat Sancak, plans to send four players to Turkey for trials before the end of this year.
According to the FRVB president Gustave Nkurunziza, the four will include three male and one female.
They are: APR duo of right-attackers Flavien Ndamukunda and Aimable Mutuyimana, Rayon Sports right-attacker, Olivier Ntagengwa and Rwanda Revenue Authority women team left-attacker Seraphine Mukantambara.
"We have talked to him on how he can continue to help our players to get professional clubs and he has agreed to help us in that regard,” Nkurunziza told Saturday Sport yesterday.
Last year, Nejat hosted Rwanda youth and junior teams in Istanbul where they had gone to participate in the World Championships.
It is reported that he also played a key role in helping national team players; Yakan Lawrence and (team captain) Christophe Mukunzi to join Turkish clubs two months ago.
Nejat was in Rwanda last week to meet FRVB officials and also watched the Carre d’AS tournament.
Meanwhile, the FIVB Junior ranking of teams, which were released this month, saw Rwanda girls ranked 4th in Africa and 20th in the world while the team is ranked 3rd and 21st on the continent and globally respectively, behind Egypt and Tunisia.
